Recently, the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Internet Ecological Governance Research Center” declared by South China University of Technology is officially approved by the Guangdong Federation of Social Sciences.
The Research Center for Internet ecological Governance in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was led by Professor Zhou Jianqing of the School of Public Administration. The center will focus on key and difficult points in Internet ecological governance, conduct in-depth systematic research, hold national and international academic conferences on internet ecological governance, release annual reports on internet ecological governance, build platforms for internet ecological governance and construction, publish a series of books, organize public welfare training, provide decision-making consulting reports to relevant government departments, and carry out industry-university-research cooperation. The center will actively explore the construction of a internet ecological governance system with Chinese characteristics, and strive to build high-end think tanks with academic, decision-making and social influence, so as to provide theoretical basis and intellectual support for Guangdong to build a strong internet province.
