Professor Wen Meirong, chief editor of Administrative Tribune delivered an academic lecture themed “the Topic Selection and Norms of Academic Paper Writing” on December 7th, 2020 in Room 204, Building 5. The lecture was presided over by Professor Zheng Fanghui. Some professors, postgraduates, and doctoral students attended the lecture.
Based on her rich experience in writing and editing, Professor Wen Meirong explained basic requirements in different stages of academic writing, including topic selection, literature retrieval, literature review, writing, and revision. Strictly centered around the topic, the whole lecture analyzed cases with theories, which was meaningful and enlightening.
During the lecture, Professor Wen actively interacted with participants on questions concerning academic writing. The lecture was well received by the audience who learned a lot about paper writing and submission.
Finally, Professor Zheng Fanghui concluded the lecture and expressed his thanks to Professor Wen for her presence.
