On March 11-13, 2013, the Cleveland State University Delegation led by the Member of Board of Trustees of CSU and the President of LEVIN Group Mr. Morton Q. Levin, and the Dean of College of Urban Affairs of CSU Prof., Edward W. Hill, visited the School of Public Administration, SCUT. The Vice-President of SCUT Prof. ZHU Min, the representatives concerned from the International Office, Division of Educational Affairs, Graduate School and SPA-SCUT attend the following related exchanges.
During the 2-day negotiation, both have had a deep discussion on the collaboration programs of 2+2 and other programs for both graduate and undergraduate students. On the afternoon of March 11, as the given schedule planed, CSU and SCUT officially signed the collaboration agreement, thus laid solid institutional foundation of the bilateral collaboration of shared aspiration for facilitating the exchange of ideas and intellect, experts and expertise, at all rounds. In the evening, Prof. Hill gave an exciting speech on The Challenge of Sub-national Economic Development Planning and Administration: Lessons from the United States and the State of Ohio, and discussed with the students of SCUT. Besides, Dean Prof. Hill and his colleagues also pursue 2 presentation & interview with the students of interest in the Wushan Campus and Mega Center Campus, respectively.
During the visiting, Prof. Hill and his colleagues expressed their appreciation of the students’ passion and the ability of learning, and have confidence on the collaboration of both universities. Through this, the bilateral joint efforts mark another chapter in the collaboration.
