On the morning of November 15, SEC invited Mr. ZENG Guanglin, regional general manager of InterContinental Hotel Group, to give a lecture in the 3rd lecture salon of tourism and hospitality management department.
Mr. ZENG introduced the marketing characteristics of IHG and the Merlin system which was applied in the field of the hotel operation, the training and management of staff and gusts service. He emphasized and analyzed the successful way of ICH: Do the right thing, Show we care, Aim higher, Celebrate difference, and Work better together. He also shared his hard and tortuous career development experience with students, thinking that learn more and practice more in university was very vital and encouraging students to promote communication skill, English ability and keep positive attitude. In the Q&A section, students proposed their questions and Mr. ZENG responded patiently.
