On November 29 to 30, Ling Nan Economic Forum has been launched in SEC. Mr. Zhong Shengyang, former vice-governor of Guangdong Province, Mr. Song Hai, vice chairman of Construction Association Central, Mr. Du Xiaoming, Party Secretary of SCUT, Mr. Wang Jun, director of Guangdong Economic Association and deputy dean of Guangdong Academy of Social Science (GASS), and Mr. Wu Yechun, assistant to president of SCUT, along with more than 400 faculty and students from SEC, and members of GASS, attended the meeting.
The theme of this forum was Market-oriented Economy and All Round Deepening Reform. Zhang Shuguang, renowned economist and research fellow of Chinese Academy of Social Science, Mr. Li Zuojun, deputy dean of Resource and Environment Institute in Development Research Center of the State Council, Professor Tian Qiusheng of SEC, and Mr. Cai Huisheng, director of Guangdong Real Estate Association made keynote speeches focusing on the theories and practice of the market-oriented economy in China in the forum.
2014 Ling Nan Economics Forum was hosted by Guangdong Economics Association, co-organized by School of Economics and Commerce of SCUT, Modern Service Industry Institute and Social Science Department of SCUT.
